50th Post!!!

I want to narrow down pictures that I have for my portfolio. I took these particular three in Dachau, a concentration camp in Germany. I can't decide which one I like best. The first one is of the front gate to the camp, the second is a picture of one of the light posts around the perimeter of the camp, and the third one is another entrance to the camp. Please help and vote!

I think either the second or third really captures what you want your viewers to feel when they see a concentration camp picture. I was immediately drawn to the second one (which is one where I think the black and white says it better that color would have), but I felt that the third told the story better. I think you might end up with a stronger picture if you crop off the edge on the left side so that the wood of the gate makes the frame of the photo. I love the look of the trees through the barbed wire.

I think, in the end I'm going to have to vote for number three though, it's the most compelling image.
